Match Preview

Arsenal fans have been living in dreamland for the last week of so, with undoubtedly their best day of 2020 coming on Wednesday as young star Bukayo Saka committed his future to the club for the next four years, ending any speculation that he may leave the club in the summer. This was then followed up by the Gunners joint biggest win this season against Norwich at home which saw them tear the Canaries apart in a 4-0 rout. It doesn’t stop there, multiple reliable sources are reporting that Arteta is keen on Thomas Partey with the club expected to make a move very soon.

Arteta will be feeling more positive going into our hardest run of fixtures this season which sees us play Wolves, Leicester, Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester City in the next two weeks due to his sides recent 3 game win streak. They will hope to turn up to Molineux and be tough to break down while be effective on the counter attack in order to get the three points. Wolves are also in very good form as they have won all three games since the restart without conceding a goal while scoring 4 themselves, highlighting just how difficult of a test this will be for the visitors. Let’s look at the team news for both sides:

Finally Arsenal have some good news to report on the injury front, as tenacious midfielder Lucas Torreira is now ready for selection following a fractured ankle. Mesut Özil is still struggling with a back injury and is being assessed ahead of this game. The long term absentees remain the same for the away side as Bernd Leno, Gabriel Martinelli, Pablo Mari and Callum Chambers won’t feature again this season. Wolves have a clean injury record following Willy Boly’s return to action, therefore will be at full strength on Saturday.
