Last time out the game ended in a stalemate 2-2 draw.

Match Preview

The last week has been a complete contrast compared to the first week of the restart, as Arteta has managed to pick his players up and guide them to two away wins in a row, one coming in the Premier League and the other in the FA Cup which means we will see them play Manchester City in the semi-final.

It appears Arsenal are starting to pick up some momentum going into the final seven games of the season and will look to kick on against 20th place Norwich on Wednesday evening. The Canaries have been in poor form since the resumption of the league, losing all three of their opening fixtures, with two coming in the Premier League and the other being a demoralising 1-2 defeat in extra-time to Manchester United in the FA Cup. The Gunners will definitely want to bring the game to the away side and make a statement of intent to the top 6 with a convincing win, anything less would be rather disappointing for Arteta’s men. Let’s look at the team news for both sides:

Cedric Soares could be welcomed into first team action at the Emirates as he is back in full training and available for selection. However, the Gunners physio’s are as busy as ever due to Lucas Torreira, Mesut Ozil and David Luiz all needing to be assessed ahead of Wednesday meeting to determine whether they can play any part. The long term absentees remain the same for the home side with Pablo Mari, Gabriel Martinelli, Bernd Leno and Callum Chambers all ruled out for the rest of the season. Worrying news for Daniel Farke as he may be without star man Todd Cantwell and Lukas Rupp who both had to be substituted in their last game, leaving the Canaries rather short of options going forward.
